About Qiotter

Why Qiotter exists, and the future it is building.

Qiotter is a child-development and neurodiversity support company serving children, caregivers, schools and organisations. Our flagship product, the Qiotter app,was born from Beyond Brain Barriers Foundation after seeing families navigate fragmented services, limited specialist access, long waiting periods, high costs, and a shortage of locally relevant developmental technology.

Vision

To create an inclusive world where every chil can access support designed around how they learn, communicate, regulate and grow.

Mission

To transform everyday screen access into safe, personalised, and specialist-guided developmental opportunity for children and caregivers.

We believe every child is a whole person; with strengths, needs, rhythms, and possibilities, and should never be reduced to a diagnosis, a behaviour, or an academic struggle.

Our Team

The people building Qiotter with care and conviction.

A multidisciplinary team grounded in African realities, combining developmental insight, delivery leadership, and inclusive technology expertise.

Founder’s reflection

A message from our founder

“What concerns me most is what happens between appointments and school support; when caregivers are carrying so much, and children are left with passive or unsafe screen time instead of meaningful developmental guidance.”

Qiotter was built from that concern and from listening to families across our region. We saw how inconsistent access, long waits, and daily pressure leave caregivers navigating important moments on their own.

Our conviction is simple: digital exposure can become developmental opportunity when it is specialist-guided, safe, and locally relevant. We are not simply building an app or a service. We are building a safer developmental environment; one child, one caregiver, and one step at a time.
